ET Genealogi - SAG Workshop

SAG Workshop

Every year, usually in late October, a group of SAG subscribers gather in Salt Lake City to spend a week together, doing Swedish research and also getting to know each other, and sharing research experience.

We are based at the Salt Lake Plaza hotel, which is conveniently located just around the corner from the Family History Library, our main target for this week.

During the week the participants are offered one or two short lectures on different Swedish topics every day. After lectures (or before) everybody heads for the microfilm readers and starts to study the Swedish church records and other records to their hearts' delight.

If problems arise, there is always a member of the special SAG staff at hand to try to sort out tangles and give hints on how to do a fruitful research.

A list of available Swedish CD:s is found here.
