ET Genealogi - SAG Workshop Staff

The SAG Workshop Staff

This was the 2003 SAG research staff, but there has been changes.

In this picture we see Priscilla Sorknes, Ulla Sköld, Elisabeth Thorsell, Chris Olsson, Karna Olsson, and Jill Seaholm.

The 2009 staff consists of

  • Jill Seaholm, of Rock Island, Illinois, who is now the organizer of the SAG Workshop. She is the genealogist of the Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center in Rock Island, and works with Swedish records on a daily basis.

  • Priscilla Sorknes, of Minneapolis, is a Swedish-Norwegian with years of experience in doing Scandinavian research.

  • Ulla Sköld, of Västerås, Sweden, is an experienced teacher, and avid genealogist and a past president of her local genealogical society.

  • Elisabeth Thorsell, of Järfälla, Sweden, is the Editor of the Swedish American Genealogist and has also done research for Swedish Americans for more than 30 years.
Invaluable helpers are David Garner, husband of Jill, and Daniel Sköld, husband of Ulla.

The Olsson siblings left the SAG Workshop in 2008, and we miss them, but the show must go on.

  • Chris Olsson, of Stockton Springs, Maine, not only has the advantage of being the son of Nils William Olsson, he is also an eminent researcher in Swedish records.

  • Karna Olsson, of Belfast, Maine, is the sister of Chris Olsson, a graphic artist and a budding researcher. She was since 1999 until 2007 the organizer of the SAG Workshops.
